A few kilometers away from the farmhouse we find protected natural areas with forests and beaches with crystal clear and emerald water, with an almost Caribbean appearance. For example, the oasis of the Biderosa forest (limited number for cars and accessible by shuttle, all to be booked or with partly shady treks) or the protected area of community naturalistic interest of the Osalla swamp (which includes the three areas of Sa Marina, Su Barone, and Osalla / su Petrosu), or the small coves of black volcanic rocks or pink granite that from Santa Maria to Cala Ginepro end the coast of Orosei to the north. Ancient village

Among the streets of the ancient village of Orosei together with churches, palaces and peasant houses it is easy to find small shady squares in which to stop, nice bars and restaurants in which to experience the flavors of local cuisine.

We are in a special area from a naturalistic and landscape point of view, which includes a deep and vast beach of granular sand, a lagoon and marsh area, a su Petrosu Avalè pond that can be navigated by canoe, all surrounded by dense and shady pine forests and wide beaches. welcoming, with crystal clear water with emerald reflections. From the beach the view sweeps across the gulf, south side, of Orosei. The large and dense pine forest provides shade and refreshments in the hottest hours and makes this large beach one of the favorite places to spend whole days enjoying various activities, sports and relaxation. Discrete kiosks dot the beach, offering additional services, all easily reachable by bicycle from the town and from our farmhouse.
